Riding Lessons

Evaluation Lesson

$60/ Hour

Evaluation lesson starts with catching your horse, grooming, tacking and 30 minutes of ride time. This helps us evaluate where the rider is at and helps us move us place rider in group lesson if wanted.

Private lessons

 $70/ 30 min

This can be any discipline of your choice. Discounted to $65 a lesson if a minimum of 4 lessons are paid for by the 3rd of the month. This also guarantees your same lesson spot each week.

Semi private/Group lessons

$55/ Hour

Disciplines will be grouped together. Discounted to $50 a lesson if a minimum of 4 lessons are paid for by the 3rd of the month. This also guarantees your same lesson spot each week. Maximum of 5 riders per lesson.

  RIDING LESSON POLICIES CANCELLATIONS AND MAKE-UPS When unable to attend a lesson, please give seven (7) days notice. A message must be received 24 hours before the start of your lesson time to be eligible for a make up lesson. Make up lessons will be given during the group lesson times and must be completed before the end of the month. One make up lesson is permitted per rider per month. Make up lessons can not be carried over to the following month. Lessons may be cancelled due to extreme weather or other unforeseen circumstances. If this should happen we will attempt to contact you as soon as possible. We reserve the right to cancel lessons 2 days per year without crediting or making up lessons.  A 30 day notice is required when dropping out of the monthly lesson package. This is necessary for our scheduling and staffing.

Required & Optional Riding Attire:

English Paddock boots or Tall boots
Breeches, Jodhpurs, Riding Tights
ASTM/SEI Certified Helmet*
Riding gloves(optional)
Half Chaps(optional)
Riding Crop(optional)
Safety Vest(optional)

*riders may borrow a SLE riding helmet for their evaluation ride.

Routine

Please arrive 15 minutes before the start of your lesson. A list of horses and riders will be provided. If your horse is available you may start grooming and tacking up. A lesson assistant will be in the barn to help the students groom both before and after their lessons. When finished tacking up, wait for the assistant or the instructor to tell you when to head to the ring.
